At the heart of who we are is the belief in Gods plan for you to flourish. God’s love is so wide and deep, that the reality of His love is transforming lives all over our nation and the world, we are part of this story and together we want to welcome you in to this amazing reality.
Our story is simple, accomplished in one person, Jesus, through one act, the Cross. It is to be spread by one people, the Church, through one simple message, the Gospel.

LIVE
We will intentionally empower people to live. Jesus came to give life. City of Lights seeks to become a place where people are empowered to live through message of Jesus and by demonstration of his power.
LOVE
We will intentionally encourage people to love through words and deeds. Gods ultimate display of love was to give his Son Jesus to redeem all of humanity.
LEAD
We will intentionally equip people to lead. Jesus commissioned us to ‘go’ and make disciples. He calls each and every one of us to be a leader in our own sphere of influence.

We love gathering together and being in each others company. A time when we laugh, pray, cry, and worship as a community of believers.
24. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
25. not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.

We Give
We give of ourselves, we give generously with our finances and we serve with our gifts.
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
1 Peter 4:10
Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

We Grow
We set goals that are measurable so that we can track progress. We believe that growth and multiplication is a sign of health. Not just about numbers, but also about us growing in our gifts, in our homes, at our work places and wherever we find our self in the market place.
46. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47. praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

We Go
We refuse to stay stagnant but continually move forward. We recognise everyone has been called to “go”, thereby fulfilling the call of God. We are for you and everything God has for you whether you serve in the Church, Market place, mission field and we will intentionally be a planting church.

Pastors Keeth + Nicola
This story began in the living room of Keeth and Nicola Bandara at a midweek prayer gathering with two other families in February 2014. Within a few months it was packed with people hungry for the word of God, resulting in the launch of the Sunday service at ‘The Bushey Arena’ in April of 2015.
Pastor Keeth is part of Elim’s National Church-planting leadership team. Together, the Bandara’s lead City of Lights Church, in the heart of Bushey. A place that family can thrive, people are raised to life in Jesus as well as equipped to become all God has intended. For over 10 years, Keeth and Nicola have led youth ministries across London and the South East. Spearheading a national youth conference called “Candyshop” during this time.
Keeth a gifted communicator, known for his down to earth and humorous approach, brings fresh, contemporary, and anointed messages, embodying our mission of “making Jesus a reality” in everyday life. Keeth and Nic have two sons and one daughter: Makai, Reuel and Etana.
Giving
Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving, all because God loves hilarious generosity.
